Unboxing: SaladBox for April, 2016

The last time I posted about SaladBox was years ago, so writing this is almost like taking a step back in time again. It's also been too long since I reviewed a subscription box of any kind.

I have good reason now to though because SaladBox and I have officially partnered up and every month, I'll be reviewing one of their boxes. This is a little overdue, but I'll be talking about what's in their April box. To be fair, I did receive the box mid-May. Haha.

Like many other subscription boxes, SaladBox often collaborates with different beauty brands. For this month, they teamed up with VMV Hypoallergenics - the top makeup brand for sensitive skin! 

I've heard a lot about VMV and some even swear by their products, but I never got the chance to try them out for myself. Since I've become more open about testing 'gentler', more natural products I was very much keen to see what this box had in store. Are you as well?

My March SaladBox

Time for another SaladBox post! Though it's already April, I only received my SaladBox for March yesterday. I actually paid for a February box but I was informed that they were sold out already so they said I'd get the next box, which was for March. But for some reason, I never received it during the month of March. I actually e-mailed them twice asking about it until it finally arrived. So yes, there was a two month delay after I paid! This is an added reason for why I've started considering subscribing to the seemingly more popular BDJ Box or Glamourbox instead. Both tend to carry brands I'm much more interested in anyway, but the BDJ Box in particular gets sold out fast. In fact, the May boxes are already gone! Hm, I guess I'll decide soon which one I'd rather go for.

Anyway, here's the SaladBox un-boxing for March! From the initial opening of it, I'm already more impressed compared to the last box I received back in October of last year.

My October SaladBox

Last week my first SaladBox for October finally arrived! I was a bit worried because I found that some people were already getting theirs mid-October, but thankfully it arrived in great condition eventually. So let's find out what I received, shall we?

Very sleek, simple but ultra classic packaging! As you can see it arrived in near pristine condition which was great.

Ta-dah! Here are all the lovely things I got sent. Everything's neatly placed and organized and nothing broke open or leaked in transit, so added props to SaladBox.
