Belo Intensive Whitening Body Cream

April 27, 2015
Though my overall complexion is already fair, I wish I had a more even skin tone. Almost my entire body is quite pale save for my feet and forearms which are a little darker. I attribute this to the fact that these areas are more exposed to the sun, especially since I wear sandals and short-sleeved tops a lot of the time.

In the past year or so I've taken extra pre-caution to try and get those areas lighter again. One is by religiously using ample sun protection even if I'll be indoors most of the time, and the other is by using an umbrella on sunny days even if I've already applied heaps of sunscreen. Of course I know that alone won't be enough and I'll need a good skin care product (or two) that can help me achieve fairer, more evenly toned skin faster. One product I decided to try that's still relatively new to the market is Belo's Intensive Whitening Body Cream.

A luxurious, moisture-rich body cream with the powerful combination of Kojic Acid and Tranexamic Acid that intensively whitens skin. SPF30 further protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays.

The product is housed in an easy-to-squeeze tube that holds 150ml of product. I find the amount too little for my liking, but that's only because I tend to buy big tubs or bottles when it comes to lotions or body creams because of my dry skin and how much I have to apply everyday. If you don't have dry skin and/or only apply whitening type products to certain areas, this should last you a good while. Either way, at less than Php200, there's no complaining!

My March SaladBox

April 09, 2013
Time for another SaladBox post! Though it's already April, I only received my SaladBox for March yesterday. I actually paid for a February box but I was informed that they were sold out already so they said I'd get the next box, which was for March. But for some reason, I never received it during the month of March. I actually e-mailed them twice asking about it until it finally arrived. So yes, there was a two month delay after I paid! This is an added reason for why I've started considering subscribing to the seemingly more popular BDJ Box or Glamourbox instead. Both tend to carry brands I'm much more interested in anyway, but the BDJ Box in particular gets sold out fast. In fact, the May boxes are already gone! Hm, I guess I'll decide soon which one I'd rather go for.

Anyway, here's the SaladBox un-boxing for March! From the initial opening of it, I'm already more impressed compared to the last box I received back in October of last year.

Review: vitamin hand (Evas)

January 28, 2013
I'm just one of those people who's very particular about my skin. I always want it as flawless and smooth as possible, all the way from my face down to my feet! That's why I regularly use both face and body exfoliators and lotions to pamper and care for my skin, and that of course also includes the skin on my hands. Call me old-fashioned perhaps, but I believe women should always have smooth and soft hands. It just adds that extra touch of femininity, and I'm sure your boyfriend or husband doesn't want to be holding onto rough and dry hands!

Luckily, a Korean brand, Evas, has a product that can help you achieve smooth and delicately scented hands with their vitamin hand hand lotion.

I never fail to apply hand cream or lotion before bed every night as well as every morning after I'm done getting ready, so when I ran out of my usual hand cream, I decided to try out a new one and spotted this product at Watsons. Lucky for me, it was also on a buy-one-take-one promo hence I grabbed two right away! Not sure if the promo is still ongoing though as I got these last month.
